Regular readers are the lifeline of any blog. An easy way to know how much a blog is active is by checking its feed readers count and the amount of comments posted. As the number of feed reader grows, more people will get alerts when you post an article. So, here are a few tips to increase your feed readers.

  1. Put up a Subscribe in my Feed link on the top of the homepage and a small 2-line text that will make your readers subscribe.
  2. The subscription buttons are becoming a standard now, so that’s a must have for all blogs.
  3. Give a subscription option at the end of your article; those visitors who like the articles and read it full have a great chance to subscribe.
  4. Put up a subscribe by email on the homepage, that will increase your subscribers a lot.
  5. Comment on other blogs that are on your niche, and sometimes put your feed link in place of your website’s link.
  6. Submit your feed to some Rss feeds directories.
  7. Use your feed links in forum signatures.
  8. Hold contest for Rss feeds.
  9. Post updates about Rss Feed count.
  10. Make blog posts like this and talk about Rss feeds.
