HP HDX 16t – Multimedia Power Blast

The Hp HDX 16t is for the multimedia buff. This multimedia powerhouse will delight the senses of the technocrat with a taste for visuals and sound. Firstly, the LCD display is simply superb and measures 16”. This glass LCD display has pixel strength of 1920*1080 and has an aspect ratio of 16:9. The screen is HD compliant at 1080p. The CPU is a P7350 Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the hard disk is 250 GB and the RAM is 4 GB. Pretty decent for a laptop, one should say. Apart from these, the laptop comes loaded with a 512MB Nvidia GeForce 9600M GPU and a blue ray player. The looks of this laptop are great too and are shelled in a titanium liquid metallic design.

The keyboard of the HDX is stylishly designed and there are quite a few glowing multimedia touch buttons and sliders. The keyboard is not congested and is pretty comfortable to work with. The track pad is fantastic to use and is very consistently smooth most of the time. Apart from this laptop comes with a lot of additional features like eSATA, Expresscard 34/54, Multicard reader, Firewire, VGA, audio in and out and HDMI. One noteworthy feature of this laptop is the integrated remote, which is useful for watching movies or listening to music from a distance. The blue ray can be used to watch programs on the LCD or on the TV with a TV tuner card. The average score of the HDX when benchmarked in a study was 80, which is better than average than most notebooks.
