Microsoft powered and HP built, HP Slate got some air lately when Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer gave out a few hints on how the upcoming HP Slate might look like. Though it’s still all speculations as not much of a detail has reached the media. We however know for sure that it will be powered by Microsoft Windows 7 and a touch screen windows 7 sure sounds good.

Microsoft is planning to launch windows 7 on October 22, however the home version of it will be priced at $119 and the pro will cost $199. Pretty much affordable if you ask me, also the pre-sale upgrades are available at $50 and $100 respectively.
