Tech Nascent Home Office

I have been running my online business from a small 6 ft. by 7 ft. room at the back of my house since 2005. Finally in 2008 my home office was built on the roof of my house. It took nearly a year, lots of hard work because getting a house built is not an easy work. But all that is past and throughout 2009, this year I had bought stuff for my room to make it worth living. Thus the new tech nascent home office was built. I have taken some pictures to show you guys how my office is and will also explain in detail my daily schedule.

I still have about 600 square foot of my roof, as is, open with enough sunlight. In the morning I wake up and sit there for hours doing meditation and yoga. I do a little free hand exercise too, as its open with sunlight and fresh air; it just feels so good and makes a great start to a day. Am planning to get some plants there, will make it even fresh with some green plants around.
The desktop
Next I open up my desktop and start my work. My desktop computer is a 7 year old 2.66 Ghz Intel Pentium processor, 512+128 MB ddr ram at 400 Mhz. running weirdly on a 133 Mhz. Fsb, with 40+80 GB 2 HDD and an old style 17 Inch CRT monitor. I still use it and it’s cool for me. I had recently bought a printer+scanner+phone+fax+copier which are next to it in the picture.

I like a decent backup power, so as you can see I got a big excide battery with a 800 VA inverter, but that’s not all because I have two full size excide battery with 1400 VA inverter for the extra backup, so whatever happens to the electricity am not going to shut down my computer

I bought a laptop recently, dell studio, 2.2 Ghz core2duo, 500 GB HDD, 4 GB ram, 15.6” monitor, it’s cool and am currently catching Wi-Fi signals of my neighbours and enjoying free internet with it as it has built in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and webcam 
My love with my desktop had not decreased with the coming of the laptop but one thing the laptop has provided me is the flexibility. Now I can sit on the balcony of my house or go downstairs or anywhere I like. The desktop had always got me rooted on my chair and am happy to become a bit more mobile lately.

Talking of the balcony, at the time of the construction when my house was getting build, I had made it absolutely clear that I need a very big balcony where I can roam around or sit with a few chairs and a table or even get a bed there and lie down and take rest. Now you guys can check it out in the pictures and tell me how it is. Also I love gardening and I have started to plant some green leafy plants in buckets, let me know how they are. Also, as you all can see, I have an open balcony too, which is about 10 ft. By 10 ft. And it gets full sunshine, I love that, the rest of the balcony though has roof on the top of it.

My lcd tv hdtv
No home office can look good without a good size LCD TV, and here is mine. It’s a Samsung 32 Inch LCD TV, with a DVD player. I don’t watch a lot of TV though; I have my list of selected programs mainly including cartoons 
and some Si-Fi films and serials which I watch regularly.
My plants
The size of my home-office is about 20 ft. By 30ft. And it includes everything starting from my bed and my desktop, to a cool sofa set and a cabinet, a table and a laptop on it, and my LCD TV and even an attached bathroom. Here are some pictures, you can check them out and let me know any suggestion that you have, let me know if you like it. Also I have attached a picture of how my home looks from the outside.

What more should I ask? What a fantastic home office you have. I just live in a rented small room and hoping to buy a house at the end of 2011. Though I have a big house in my village but due to availability of certain thing I live here.

The stabilizer is working good, it auto cuts at too high voltage… let me know if you have a good stabilizer suggestion. The Showroom guys told that the lcd tv has built in power stablizer and it dosenot requires an external stabilizer… but i was having an extra stabilizer so used it
Old is Gold ?,
V Gurad is a better option, they now started LCD Stabilizers, Yes modern Tv are with internal Stabilizer. working fine in 40-270 V.
